- Align X-ray Insights is a diagnostic support system for radiographic image data of the orofacial system. It uses Artificial Intelligence for the detection of pathologies and non-pathological structures. Deep learning techniques were applied to develop a series of artificial neural networks for classification, detection and segmentation purposes. The software supports the localization and classification of teeth, and the detection and documentation of pathologies as well as non-pathological structures. AI Insights Pro combines clinical and epidemiological expertise in dentistry, machine learning and software engineering. AI Insights is intended to be used by dentists in a professional dental environment. Patients with a permanent dentition are investigated with the software. Verify that the computer is connected to the internet (computer may not be connected to the local network or the network may not be connected to the internet).
- In the EU and UK, X-ray Insights is under MDD regulation and will be under MDR regulation in the future.
- In Canada, Align X-ray Insights is currently cleared by Health Canada.
- Align X-ray Insights is expected to be approved in the US, Australia and New Zealand in 2025.
- Dental radiographs with supernumerary teeth
- Dental radiographs showing primary dentition or a mix of primary and permanent dentition
- Periodontal health, as it is not a replacement for measuring periodontal probing depth.
Align X-ray Insights is contraindicated for the assessment of:
- First verify that the credentials are correct. If the username or password has been forgotten, then please use the “Forgot Username or Password” link in the portal window
- Verify that the computer is connected to the internet (computer may not be connected to the local network or the network may not be connected to the internet).
- Close the Align™ X-ray Insights portal and the browser that it is in. Reopen the browser and open Align X-ray Insights.
- If the problem continues, please use the “Help” icon and “Report problem” or contact technical help.
- Verify that the computer is connected to the internet (computer may not be connected to the local network or the network may not be connected to the internet).
- Close the Align X-ray Insights portal and the browser that it is in. Reopen the browser and open Align X-ray Insights.
- Please use the “Help” icon and go to “Analysis of Detection” tab to verify that Align X-ray Insights is showing detections.
- If the problem continues, please use the “Help” icon and “Report problem” or contact technical help.
- If the image loads incorrectly and is not easy to read, adjust the contrast or brightness using the “Image” button. To learn more, please use the “Help” icon and go to the “Navigation” tab.
- If the image loads incorrectly and needs to be rotated or flipped or mirrored, use the “Rotate” or “Flip” button on the left. To learn more, please use the “Help” icon and go to the “Navigation” tab.
